Brian Joseph Lockhart and Hon. Sir Herbert Meade-Fetherstonhaugh and Margaret Isabel Frances Glyn.2 She married Brigadier Michael James Babington Smith, son of Sir Henry Babington Smith and Lady Elisabeth Mary Bruce, on 28 September 1943.1 She died on 22 November 2001 at age 84.3
     Her married name became Babington Smith. In 1990 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.1

Sir Herbert Meade-Fetherstonhaugh and Margaret Isabel Frances Glyn, on 28 September 1943.1 He died on 26 October 1984 at age 83 at Kensington, London, England.4,3

     Sir Henry Babington Smith was born on 29 January 1863 at Riverbank, Putney, London, England.3 He was the son of Archibald Smith and Susan Emma Parker.3 He married Lady Elisabeth Mary Bruce, daughter of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Lady Constance Mary Carnegie, on 22 September 1898 at Simla, India.4,3 He died on 29 September 1923 at age 60.3

     Lady Constance Mary Carnegie was born on 17 November 1851.2 She was the daughter of James Carnegie, 9th Earl of Southesk and Lady Catherine Hamilton Noel.1,3 She was baptised on 27 December 1851 at Farnell, Angus, Scotland.2 She married Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine, son of James Bruce, 12th Earl of Kincardine and Lady Mary Louisa Lambton, on 9 November 1876.3 She died on 24 September 1909 at age 57.1

     James Carnegie, 9th Earl of Southesk was born on 16 November 1827 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir James Carnegie of Kinnaird, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Lysons.1 He married, firstly, Lady Catherine Hamilton Noel, daughter of Charles Noel, 1st Earl of Gainsborough and Arabella Hamlyn-Williams, on 19 June 1849 at Exton Park, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Lady Susan Catherine Mary Murray, daughter of Alexander Edward Murray, 6th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Catherine Herbert, on 29 November 1860.2 He died on 21 February 1905 at age 77.
