     Major Peter George Evelyn was born on 28 December 1909.² He was the son of John Harcourt Chichester Evelyn and Frances Edith Ives.² He married Patricia Lilla Mary McCalmont, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Chaine Alexander McCalmont, on 9 June 1934.² He died after 17 March 1943 at Mareth, Tunisia^G, missing in action, and presumed died from his wounds.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.²

     John Michael Patrick Hugh Evelyn was born on 16 October 1939.² He is the son of Major Peter George Evelyn and Patricia Lilla Mary McCalmont.^3,2 He married, firstly, Jennifer Anne Browne, daughter of Thomas Gillespie Browne and Susan Monica Smith, on 25 June 1965.⁴ He and Jennifer Anne Browne were divorced.⁵ He married, secondly, Anne Patricia Lindsell, daughter of Richard Campbell Lindsell and Patricia Dorothea Murphy, on 26 September 1974.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He lived in 1976 at Kempslade Farm, Abinger Common, Dorking, Surrey, England^G.¹

     William Patrick Evelyn was born on 5 June 1975.¹ He is the son of John Michael Patrick Hugh Evelyn and Anne Patricia Lindsell.²

     Carol Frances Lindsell was born on 22 June 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Campbell Lindsell and Patricia Dorothea Murphy.² She married J. W. N. Lowes, son of R. W. Lowes, on 15 December 1973.¹
