William Verner1

     William Verner was born on 31 January 1807.1 He was the son of Thomas Verner and Elizabeth May.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Elizabeth May, daughter of Reverend Edward May, on 20 October 1832.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Jane Willis Fleming, daughter of John Willis Fleming and Christopheria Buchanan, on 22 July 1867.1 He died on 9 January 1893 at age 85.1
     He was Treasurer of County Antrim.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Antrim Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Frances Constantia Carne1

     Frances Constantia Carne was the daughter of Captain John Curnan Carne.1 She married Lt.-Col. James Edward Verner, son of Thomas Verner and Elizabeth May, on 28 February 1843.1 She died on 16 May 1848.1
