     Hans Frederic Rowan-Hamilton usually went by his middle name of Frederic.3 He was a secretary (to his father?) In 1928.3

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Temple Rowan Rowan-Hamilton was born on 17 July 1850.1 He was the son of Archibald Rowan Rowan-Hamilton and Catherine Anne Caldwell.2 He married Blanche Mary Fellowes-Gordon, daughter of Rear-Admiral William Abdy Fellowes-Gordon and Hannah Gordon, on 26 April 1883.1 He died on 9 February 1941 at age 90.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the l9th (East Norfolk) Regiment.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland (Lord Spencer.)1 He was Comptroller to Lord Dufferin in Canada and India.1

     Rear-Admiral William Abdy Fellowes-Gordon was born on 11 February 1815.2 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Fellowes and Catherine Mary Abdy.2 He married Hannah Gordon, daughter of Captain Harry Gordon and Anne Carnegie, on 16 June 1857.2 He died on 28 March 1878 at age 63.2
     He lived at Knockespoch, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1

     Blanche Mary Fellowes-Gordon was born circa 1862.1 She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral William Abdy Fellowes-Gordon and Hannah Gordon.2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Frederick Temple Rowan Rowan-Hamilton, son of Archibald Rowan Rowan-Hamilton and Catherine Anne Caldwell, on 26 April 1883.1 She died on 24 January 1960.1
     From 26 April 1883, her married name became Rowan-Hamilton.

     Phyllis Frances Blackburn is the daughter of Hon. Robert Francis Leslie Blackburn, Lord Blackburn and Lady Constance Frances Bowes-Lyon.2,1 She married Brigadier Gawain Basil Rowan-Hamilton, son of Lt.-Col. Frederick Temple Rowan Rowan-Hamilton and Blanche Mary Fellowes-Gordon, on 5 October 1916.1
     From 5 October 1916, her married name became Rowan-Hamilton. She was with the First Aide Nursing Yeomanry and APM Military Police during the Second World War.1 She lived in 1976 at Tullymacnowes House, Toye, Killyleagh, County Down, IrelandG.1
