     Lt.-Col. Sir William Gordon Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 4th Bt. was born on 20 July 1848.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Alexander Penrose Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 3rd Bt. and Anne Pitcairn Campbell.² He married Florence Josephine Garner, daughter of W. Garner, on 10 June 1891.¹ He died on 20 May 1930 at age 81.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Gordon-Cumming, of Altyre and of Gordonstoun, co. Moray [U.K., 1804] on 2 September 1866.¹ He fought in the Zulu War in 1879, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1884 and 1885 in the Guards Camel Regiment in Desert Column.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.¹

     F/O Ronald Gordon Vicary Gibbs was born on 4 September 1918.¹ He was the son of Captain Maurice Antony Crutchley Gibbs and Elma Gordon-Cumming.¹ He died on 31 October 1942 at age 24, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Daphne Marian Gibbs was born on 8 November 1912.¹ She is the daughter of Captain Maurice Antony Crutchley Gibbs and Elma Gordon-Cumming.¹ She married Percy Kirwan Agar, son of Edward Ashton Agar and Grace Ogilvy, on 5 January 1934.¹
     Her married name became Agar. She lived in 1999 at La Haut, Dominica.¹

     Percy Kirwan Agar was the son of Edward Ashton Agar and Grace Ogilvy.^1,2 He married Daphne Marian Gibbs, daughter of Captain Maurice Antony Crutchley Gibbs and Elma Gordon-Cumming, on 5 January 1934.¹ He died on 12 July 1954.¹

     Edward Ashton Agar married Grace Ogilvy, daughter of Alexander Ogilvy and Margaret Gallion.¹
     He lived at La Haut, Dominica.²

     Margaret Falkiner McBean was the daughter of Daniel Grant McBean.¹ She married, firstly, Reginald Francis Egerton before 1933.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Maurice Antony Crutchley Gibbs, son of Hon. Henry Lloyd Gibbs and Alice Mary Crutchley, on 3 May 1933.² She died in August 1964.¹
     From before 1933, her married name became Egerton.¹ Her married name became Gibbs.

     Daniel Grant McBean lived at Fairley Grange, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Louis Trench was born on 21 March 1846.¹ He was the son of Reverend Frederic FitzWilliam Trench and Louisa Alice Ward.¹ He married Mary Ann Ward, daughter of William Robert Ward and Arabella Ward, on 21 June 1877.¹ He died on 25 January 1940 at age 93.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     2nd Lt. Ronald Charles Melbourne Gibbs was born on 26 August 1894.¹ He was the son of Hon. Henry Lloyd Gibbs and Alice Mary Crutchley.¹ He died on 18 October 1914 at age 20, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1914.

     Helen Bridget Gibbs was born on 18 February 1896.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Henry Lloyd Gibbs and Alice Mary Crutchley.¹ She married Sir Ian Leslie Orr Ewing, son of Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing and Hon. Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven, on 24 January 1917.¹
     Her married name became Orr Ewing. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1948.¹
