     Lillie Caroline Houldsworth was the daughter of Reverend William Thomas Houldsworth.1 She married Gerald Henry Beresford Gibbs, 3rd Baron Aldenham, son of Alban George Henry Gibbs, 2nd Baron Aldenham and Bridget Beresford-Hope, on 9 May 1905.1 She died on 1 September 1950.1
     Her married name became Gibbs. After her marriage, Lillie Caroline Houldsworth was styled as Baroness Aldenham on 9 May 1936.
