He was the son of Jestyn Reginald Austin Plantagenet Philipps, 2nd Viscount Saint Davids and Doreen Guinness Jowett.1 He married Augusta Victoria Correa Larrain Ugarte, daughter of Don Estantislao Correa Ugarte, on 7 December 1965.2 He died on 26 April 2009 at age 70.
