     Francis Dacre, 8th Lord Dacre (of Gilsland) was born after 1529. He was the son of William Dacre, 3rd Lord Dacre (of Gilsland) and Lady Elizabeth Talbot.1 He married, secondly, Avice Tyrrell, daughter of Thomas Tyrrell.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Radcliffe, daughter of John Radcliffe, before January 1573/74.1 He died on 19 February 1632/33.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Lord Dacre, of Gilsland [E., 1473] in 1584, which he assumed on the death of his brother.1

     Randolf Dacre, 9th Lord Dacre (of Gilsland) was born on 8 March 1607/8.1 He was the son of Francis Dacre, 8th Lord Dacre (of Gilsland) and Avice Tyrrell.1 He died on 10 December 1634 at age 26, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Dacre, of Gilsland [E., 1473] on 19 February 1632/33.1 On his death, his title, if it had been judged in 1569 with heirs male only, would have become extinct.1

Sir Thomas Windsor1

     Sir Thomas Windsor was the son of William Windsor, 2nd Baron Windsor and Margaret Sambourne.1,2 He married Dorothy Dacre, daughter of William Dacre, 3rd Lord Dacre (of Gilsland) and Lady Elizabeth Talbot, on 29 November 1544.1 He died in December 1552, without male issue.3
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in February 1546/47.3
