John Thellusson, 2nd Baron Rendlesham of Rendlesham was born on 12 September 1785.1 He was the son of Peter Isaac Thellusson, 1st Baron Rendlesham of Rendlesham and Elizabeth Eleanor Cornwall.1 He married, firstly, Mary Andalusia Dickens, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Trevor Dickens, on 30 November 1809.1 He married, secondly, Ann Sophia Tatnall, daughter of William Tatnall and Mary Carter, on 26 March 1816.1 He died on 3 July 1832 at age 46.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Rendlesham of Rendlesham [I., 1806] on 16 September 1808.1

Mary Andalusia Dickens was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Trevor Dickens.1 She married John Thellusson, 2nd Baron Rendlesham of Rendlesham, son of Peter Isaac Thellusson, 1st Baron Rendlesham of Rendlesham and Elizabeth Eleanor Cornwall, on 30 November 1809.1 She died on 15 August 1814, without issue.1
After her marriage, Mary Andalusia Dickens was styled as Baroness Rendlesham of Rendlesham on 30 November 1809. From 30 November 1809, her married name became Thellusson.
