Margaret Violet Stirling was the daughter of John Stirling of Fairburn.2 She married Colonel Sir Hector Munro of Foulis, 11th Bt., son of Sir Charles Munro of Foulis, 10th Bt. and Mary Anne Nicholson, on 7 April 1880.1 She died on 20 February 1946.1

Captain Hector Charles Seymour Munro was born on 30 March 1895.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Hector Munro of Foulis, 11th Bt. and Margaret Violet Stirling.2 He died on 23 October 1918 at age 23, killed in action.1
He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1

Maj.-Gen. Ian Argyll Robertson of Brackla was born on 17 July 1913 at Richmond, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of John Argyll Robertson.3 He married Marjorie Violet Isobel Duncan, daughter of Captain Malcolm Bedford Duncan and Isobel Euphane Munro, in 1939.1 He died on 10 January 2010 at age 96.2
