Sir Brian Patrick McMahon, 8th Bt. was born on 9 June 1942.1 He was the son of Sir William Patrick McMahon, 7th Bt. and Ruth Stella Kenyon-Slaney.2 He married Kathleen Joan Hopwood, daughter of William Hopwood, in 1981.1 He and Kathleen Joan Hopwood were divorced in 1991.1 He died on 30 January 2018 at age 75.
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Wednesbury Technical College, Wednesbury, Warwickshire, EnglandG, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering Metallurgy.1 He was registered as a Associate, Institution of Metallurgists (A.I.M.) in 1967.1 He was an engineer.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet McMahon [U.K., 1817] on 5 January 1977.2 He lived in 2003 at Oak Ridge, School Road, Thorney Hill, Bransgore, Dorset, EnglandG.1

Constance Marianne Langford was the daughter of Captain Netherton Langford.2 She married, firstly, John Bell Brooking, son of John Savery Brooking and Eleanor (?), on 17 November 1870 at St. James's, Piccadilly, London, England.1,2 She married, secondly, General Sir Thomas Westropp McMahon, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Emily Anne Westropp, on 14 August 1888.1 She died on 19 September 1893.1
