     John Woodhouse Acland was born on 9 June 1849.1 He was the son of Hugh Woodhouse Acland and Mary Edwards.1 He married Anne Waddell Hughes, daughter of Colonel H. P. Hughes, in July 1875.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 57th Regiment.1

     Ellen Mary Woodhouse Acland was the daughter of Hugh Woodhouse Acland and Mary Edwards.1 She married Reverend Frederick Wentworth Vernon, son of Henry Charles Vernon and Catherine Williams, on 6 June 1867.1 She died on 20 July 1883.1
     Her married name became Vernon.

     Reverend Frederick Wentworth Vernon was born on 8 January 1839.2 He was the son of Henry Charles Vernon and Catherine Williams.1,3 He married, firstly, Ellen Mary Woodhouse Acland, daughter of Hugh Woodhouse Acland and Mary Edwards, on 6 June 1867.1 He married, secondly, Edith Serena Hill Boothby, daughter of Reverend Henry Brooke Boothby and Frances Sarah Jenkinson, on 13 August 1885.2 He died on 20 May 1906 at age 67.1
     He was Vicar at Rangeworthy, England.2

     Captain Hon. Matthew Fortescue was born on 12 April 1754.3 He was the son of Matthew Fortescue, 2nd Baron Fortescue of Castle Hill and Anne Campbell.1,4 He married, firstly, Henrietta Archer, daughter of Colonel unknown Archer, on 1 November 1778.3 He married, secondly, Henrietta Anne Hoare, daughter of Sir Richard Hoare, 1st Bt. and Frances Anne Acland, on 6 June 1795.1 He died on 19 November 1842 at age 88.5 He was buried at Barnes, Surrey, EnglandG.5
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Arthur Henry Dyke Troyte was born on 3 May 1811.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 6th/10th Bt. and Lydia Elizabeth Hoare.1 He married Frances Williams, daughter of Robert Williams and Frances Turner, on 15 September 1835.1 He died on 19 June 1857 at age 46.1
     He was given the name of Arthur Henry Dyke Acland at birth.1 On 13 August 1852 his name was legally changed to Arthur Henry Dyke Troyte by Royal License, on inheriting the estates of Reverend Edward Berkeley Troyte.1,2

     Frances Williams was born circa 1812 at Bloomsbury, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Robert Williams and Frances Turner.1,3 She married Arthur Henry Dyke Troyte, son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 6th/10th Bt. and Lydia Elizabeth Hoare, on 15 September 1835.1 She died on 4 August 1856.1
     From 15 September 1835, her married name became Acland. From 1852, her married name became Troyte.1
