Sophia Harriette Godwin-Austen1

     Sophia Harriette Godwin-Austen was the daughter of Robert Alfred Cloyne Godwin-Austen and Maria Elizabeth Godwin.2,3 She married Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt., son of Colonel Sir George Henry Hewett, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Majendie, in July 1873.1 She died on 31 December 1921.1
     From July 1873, her married name became Hewett.

     Lieutenant Nicholas George Berwick Lechmere was born on 20 September 1881.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Anthony Harley Lechmere, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Katherine Haigh.1 He married Mary Katherine Pegg, daughter of Major John Pegg, on 23 June 1904.1 He died on 17 October 1915 at age 34, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1

Mary Katherine Pegg1

     Mary Katherine Pegg was the daughter of Major John Pegg.1 She married Lieutenant Nicholas George Berwick Lechmere, son of Sir Edmund Anthony Harley Lechmere, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Katherine Haigh, on 23 June 1904.1 She died on 26 July 1910, without issue.1
     From 23 June 1904, her married name became Lechmere.1

Bertram Henry Majendie Hewett1

     Bertram Henry Majendie Hewett was born on 23 December 1874.1 He was the son of Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt. and Sophia Harriette Godwin-Austen.2 He married Theodore (?) on 4 October 1911.1 He died on 14 November 1933 at age 58.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He was chief engineer for the Mersey Tunnel.1

     Theodore (?) married, firstly, Alexander Weir before 1911.1 She married, secondly, Bertram Henry Majendie Hewett, son of Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt. and Sophia Harriette Godwin-Austen, on 4 October 1911.1 She died in 1946.1
     From before 1911, her married name became Weir.1 From 4 October 1911, her married name became Hewett.

     Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. was born on 24 October 1858.1 He was the son of Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt. and Clara von Pochhammer.2 He married, firstly, Emma Pope, daughter of T. Pope, on 10 November 1887.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Margaret Studdy, daughter of Commander Henry Studdy, on 30 January 1892.1 He died on 5 March 1949 at age 90.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hewett, of Nether Seale, co. Leicester [U.K., 1813] on 15 April 1876.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the Edinburgh Royal Garrison Artillery Militia.1
