     Edward Lisle Ryder was born in 1853.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Alfred Phillips Ryder and Louisa Dawson.1 He married Agnes Augusta Bickley, daughter of John Latty Bickley and Ann Elizabeth Fereday, on 14 June 1877.1 He died on 28 September 1877.1

     From 14 June 1877, her married name became Ryder.1

     Lt.-Col. Wilfred Ironside Ryder was born on 24 June 1866.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Spencer Charles Dudley Ryder and Julia Money.1 He married Tempé Rose Ridhalgh Parsons, daughter of Maj.-Gen. James Edmund Bacon Parsons, on 22 August 1901.1 He died on 23 December 1948 at age 82.1
     He fought in the Sikkim Campaign in 1888.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1894.1 He fought in the Tirah Campaign in 1897.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Maj.-Gen. James Edmund Bacon Parsons was born on 9 November 1830 at Jhellum, Punjab, India.2 He married Temperance Susan Beckett on 11 October 1856 at Mussoorie, Bengal, India.2 He died on 6 September 1905 at age 74 at The Gables, Southborne-on-Sea, Sussex, England.2
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Bengal Staff Corps.1 He was Deputy Commissioner of Burma.2
