Reverend Peter Leigh was born on 20 August 1782.1 He was the son of Egerton Leigh and Elizabeth Jodrell.1 He married, firstly, Mary Blackburne, daughter of Thomas Blackburne and Margaret Brooke, on 10 November 1812.1 He married, secondly, Jane Steward, daughter of Harriot Steward, on 18 March 1828.1

Eleanor Sophia Egerton Leigh was the daughter of Egerton Leigh and Lydia Rachel Wright.2,3 She married Sir Robert Alfred Cunliffe, 5th Bt., son of Robert Ellis Cunliffe and Charlotte Howel, on 5 August 1869.1 She died on 13 March 1898.1
