Ellis Watkin Cunliffe1

     Ellis Watkin Cunliffe was born on 5 September 1787.1 He was the son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch.2 He was baptised on 28 September 1787 at Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.3 He married Caroline Kingston, daughter of John Kingston, on 13 June 1822.1 He died on 20 December 1866 at age 79.2

     Caroline Kingston was the daughter of John Kingston.2 She married Ellis Watkin Cunliffe, son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch, on 13 June 1822.1 She died in 1856.1

     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Northamptonshire Yeomanry.1 He fought in the First World War.1
