Hon. William Cosby Trench was born on 23 January 1869.2 He was the son of Hon. Frederic Sydney Charles Trench and Lady Anne Le Poer Trench.3 He married Frances Elizabeth Shawe-Taylor, daughter of Walter Taylor Newton Shawe-Taylor and Elizabeth Persse, on 7 September 1893 at Ardrahan, County Galway, IrelandG.2,4 He died on 12 March 1944 at age 75.3
