     From 8 March 1788, her married name became Boyle. After her marriage, Lady Augusta Hay was styled as Countess of Glasgow on 8 March 1788.

Sir John Sinclair of Ulbster, 1st Bt. was born on 10 May 1754 at Thurso, Caithness, ScotlandG.3 He was the son of George Sinclair of Ulbster and Janet Sutherland.1,3 He married, firstly, Sarah Maitland, daughter of Alexander Maitland, on 26 March 1776 at St. Martins in the Fields, London, EnglandG.4,5 He married, secondly, Diana Macdonald, daughter of Alexander Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Slate and Elizabeth Diana Bosville, on 6 March 1788.3 He died on 21 December 1835 at age 81.3
     He was created 1st Baronet Sinclair, of Ulbster, co.
