     Victor Albert George Child-Villiers, 7th Earl of Island of Jersey was born on 20 March 1845.¹ He was the son of George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Julia Peel.¹ He married Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh, daughter of William Henry Leigh, 2nd Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Lady Caroline Amelia Grosvenor, on 19 September 1872.¹ He died on 31 May 1915 at age 70.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Villiers of Dartford, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 24 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of the Island of Jersey [E., 1697] on 24 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Villiers of Hoo, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 24 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Grandison of Limerick, co.      Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh was born on 29 October 1849.² She was the daughter of William Henry Leigh, 2nd Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Lady Caroline Amelia Grosvenor.² She married Victor Albert George Child-Villiers, 7th Earl of Island of Jersey, son of George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Julia Peel, on 19 September 1872.¹ She died on 22 May 1945 at age 95.²
     From 19 September 1872, her married name became Child-Villiers. After her marriage, Hon. Margaret Elizabeth Leigh was styled as Countess of the Island of Jersey on 19 September 1872. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.² She was a Governor at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.² She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1927.² She wrote the book Fifty-One Years of Victorian Life.³

     George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey was born on 4 April 1808.¹ He was the son of George Child-Villiers, 5th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Lady Sarah Sophia Fane.¹ He married Julia Peel, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd, on 12 July 1841.¹ He died on 24 October 1859 at age 51.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Rochester between 1830 and 1831.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Minehead between 1831 and 1832.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Honiton between 1832 and 1835.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Circencester between 1844 and 1852.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Villiers of Dartford, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 3 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey [E., 1697] on 3 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Grandison of Limerick, co. Leitrim [I., 1621] on 3 October 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Villiers of Hoo, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 3 October 1859.¹

     Julia Peel was born on 30 April 1821 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd.³ She married, firstly, George Augustus Frederick Child-Villiers, 6th Earl of the Island of Jersey, son of George Child-Villiers, 5th Earl of the Island of Jersey and Lady Sarah Sophia Fane, on 12 July 1841.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Brandling on 12 September 1865.¹ She died on 14 August 1893 at age 72.¹
     From 12 July 1841, her married name became Child-Villiers. After her marriage, Julia Peel was styled as Countess of the Island of Jersey on 3 October 1859. Her married name became Brandling.

     Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 February 1788.³ He was the son of Sir Robert Peel, 1st Bt. and Ellen Yates.³ He married Julia Floyd, daughter of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke, on 8 June 1820.³ He died on 2 July 1850 at age 62, thrown from his horse three days earlier and died from his injuries.³

     Charles Brandling was born circa 1834 at Rothwell, Yorkshire, England.² He married Julia Peel, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd, on 12 September 1865.¹ He died on 16 September 1894.³
     He lived at Middleton Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Anne Patricia Maltby is the daughter of Patrick Brough Maltby.¹ She married Raymond David Grant, 11th Baron de Longueuil, son of Ronald Charles Grant, 10th Baron de Longueuil and Ernestine Hester Maud Bowes-Lyon, on 10 August 1946.¹
     From 10 August 1946, her married name became Grant.¹

     Simon Gascoyn Eden was born on 13 November 1924.¹ He was the son of Robert Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon and Beatrice Helen Beckett.¹ He died on 23 June 1945 at age 20 at Burma^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.

     Mary Elizabeth Parsons was born in 1823.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Whitehill Parsons and Mary Elizabeth Dewar.² She married Admiral Sir William Edmonstone of Duntreath, 4th Bt., son of Sir Charles Edmonstone of Duntreath, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Louisa Hotham, in July 1841.³ She died on 11 August 1902.³
     From July 1841, her married name became Edmonstone.

     Lt.-Col. John Whitehill Parsons was born on 2 October 1785.^3,4 He was the son of John Parsons and Anne Hough.⁴ He married Mary Elizabeth Dewar, daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Dewar and Mary Cutler, on 1 June 1820 at Gilston House, Fife, Scotland.^5,2 He died on 21 April 1848 at age 62 at The Palace, Corfu, Greece^G.^5,2 His will was proven (by probate) on 11 August 1848.²
     He was also known as Lt.-Col. John Whitehall Parsons.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th Hussars.⁵ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)³ He held the office of British Resident for Zante, in the Ionian Islands.³ He lived at Zante, Ionian Isles, Greece.⁵ His last will was dated 9 March 1848.² He had three sons and one other daughter.⁵
