Alan Bruce Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie1

     Alan Bruce Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie was born on 27 January 1875.1 He was the son of Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Mary Madeline Breakenridge.1 He died on 6 August 1948 at age 73.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Forfar and Kincardine Militia.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the North Scottish, Royal Garrison Artillery.1 He was a practising Advocate in 1902.1

     Dorothy Olivia Strachan Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie was born on 27 March 1877.1 She was the daughter of Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Mary Madeline Breakenridge.1 She married David Horndon, son of David William Hicks John Horndon, on 9 January 1907.1 She died on 9 June 1954 at age 77.1
     From 9 January 1907, her married name became Horndon.1
