     Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux was the daughter of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird.1 She married Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade, son of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Matilda Ellen Dawson, on 30 July 1861.1 She died on 14 March 1931.2
     From 30 July 1861, her married name became Slade.1

     Lt.-Col. William Hicks Slade was born on 9 December 1829.2 He was the son of General Sir John Slade, 1st Bt. and Matilda Ellen Dawson.3 He married Cecilia Louisa Des Voeux, daughter of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird, on 30 July 1861.1 He died on 28 July 1884 at age 54.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 5th Lancers.2

     Mary Gertrude Des Voeux was the daughter of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird.1 She married Sir Edward Henry Gervase Stracey, 6th Bt., son of Sir Henry Josias Stracey, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Denne, on 28 April 1870.2 She died on 26 January 1907.2
     From 28 April 1870, her married name became Stracey.1

Sir Edward Henry Gervase Stracey, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Edward Henry Gervase Stracey, 6th Bt. was born on 3 December 1838.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Josias Stracey, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Denne.2,3 He married Mary Gertrude Des Voeux, daughter of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird, on 28 April 1870.2 He died on 6 June 1888 at age 49.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Norfolk Artillery Militia.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Stracey, of Rackheath, Norfolk [U.K., 1818] on 7 August 1885.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.2

     Augusta Anne Des Voeux was the daughter of Sir Charles Des Voeux, 2nd Bt. and Christina Hird.1 She married Augustus Frederick Arthur Sandys, 4th Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley, son of Arthur Marcus Cecil Sandys, 3rd Lord Sandys, Baron of Ombersley and Louisa Blake, on 3 August 1872.2 She died on 24 January 1903, without issue.1
     From 3 August 1872, her married name became Sandys.1

     Reverend Henry Des Voeux was born in 1786.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Philip Vinchon Des Voeux, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Champagné.1 He married, secondly, Frances Elizabeth Hutton, daughter of George Hutton-Riddell. He married, firstly, Frances Dalrymple, daughter of Daniel Dalrymple and Diana Clay, on 1 December 1812.2 He married, thirdly, Julia Denison, daughter of John Denison, in 1839 at Marylebone, London, England.3 He died on 30 September 1857 at Interlaken, SwitzerlandG, as the result of an accident.1
