     Margaret Lundin was the daughter of John Lundin of that Ilk. She married George Leslie, 1st Earl of Rothes, son of Sir Norman Leslie of Rothes and of Fythkill and Christian Seton, circa 1435.1
     Her married name became Leslie.

     Lady Elizabeth Sinclair was the daughter of William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness and Lady Elizabeth Douglas.2,1 She married Andrew Leslie, Master of Rothes, son of George Leslie, 1st Earl of Rothes and Christian Haliburton.2 She died in 1508.2
     She was also known as Marjory Sinclair.3 Her married name became Leslie.2

     George Leslie, 2nd Earl of Rothes was the son of Andrew Leslie, Master of Rothes and Lady Elizabeth Sinclair.2 He married Lady Janet Douglas, daughter of George Douglas, 4th Earl of Angus and Isabel Sibbald, circa October 1492.1,3 He died from 24 February 1512/13 to 31 March 1513.
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Leslie [S., 1445] in May 1490.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] in May 1490.2

     William Leslie, 3rd Earl of Rothes was the son of Andrew Leslie, Master of Rothes and Lady Elizabeth Sinclair.1 He married Margaret Balfour, daughter of Sir Michael Balfour, 1st of Montquhannie and Marjorie Durie.1 He died on 9 September 1513, killed in action.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Leslie [S., 1445] in March 1513.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] in March 1513.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1

     Margaret Balfour was the daughter of Sir Michael Balfour, 1st of Montquhannie and Marjorie Durie. She married William Leslie, 3rd Earl of Rothes, son of Andrew Leslie, Master of Rothes and Lady Elizabeth Sinclair.1
     Her married name became Leslie. After her marriage, Margaret Balfour was styled as Countess of Rothes in March 1513.

Norman Leslie, Master of Rothes1

     Norman Leslie, Master of Rothes was the son of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes and Margaret Crichton.1 He married Isabel Lindsay, daughter of John Lindsay, 5th Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Lady Helen Stewart, circa February 1540/41.2 He died on 31 August 1554 at Renti, from wounds received in action.1
     He was styled as Master of Rothes.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1545.1 On 29 May 1546 he was the principal agent in the murder of Cardinal Beaton, for which he was later forfeit.1 He gained the rank of officer in the French Service.1 He fought in the Battle of Renti on 31 August 1554.1
