     Eric Leigh was born on 13 April 1913.1 He was the son of Sir John Leigh, 1st Bt. and Norah Marjorie New.1 He married, firstly, Joan Fitzgerald Lane Freer, daughter of Maurice Charles Lane Freer, on 21 November 1934.1 He and Joan Fitzgerald Lane Freer were divorced in 1939.1 He married, secondly, Mary Babette Jaques, daughter of Joseph Hodgson Jaques, on 14 December 1939.1 He died on 9 April 1981 at age 67 at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.1,2
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1

     Sir Richard Henry Leigh, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 November 1936.1 He was the son of Eric Leigh and Joan Fitzgerald Lane Freer.1 He married, firstly, Barbro Anna Elizabeth Tham, daughter of Stig Carl Sebastian Tham and Ebba Thomazine von Essen, on 4 December 1962.2 He and Barbro Anna Elizabeth Tham were divorced before 1977.3 He married, secondly, Cherie Rosalind Dale, daughter of Douglas Donald Dale, in 1977.2 He died on 2 July 2021 at age 84.4
     He was educated at Aiglon College, Chesières-Villars, SwitzerlandG.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Leigh, of Altrincham., co. Chester [U.K., 1918] on 13 December 1992.1 He lived in 2003 at Trythall Vean, Madron, Penzance, Cornwall, EnglandG.2
