     Sackville Walter Lane-Fox was born on 24 March 1797.¹ He was the son of James Lane-Fox and Hon. Marcia Lucy Pitt.¹ He married Lady Charlotte Mary Anne Georgiana Osborne, daughter of George William Frederick Osborne, 6th Duke of Leeds and Lady Charlotte Townshend, on 22 May 1826.² He died on 18 August 1874 at age 77.³
     He gained the rank of officer in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³

     William Augustus Lane Fox was born in 1796. He was the son of James Lane-Fox and Hon. Marcia Lucy Pitt.¹ He married Lady Caroline Douglas, daughter of Hon. John Douglas and Lady Frances Lascelles, on 31 December 1817.¹ He died on 11 February 1832.¹

     Lady Caroline Douglas was the daughter of Hon. John Douglas and Lady Frances Lascelles.¹ She married William Augustus Lane Fox, son of James Lane-Fox and Hon. Marcia Lucy Pitt, on 31 December 1817.¹ She died on 7 November 1873.¹
     Her married name became Lane Fox. On 28 August 1835 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.¹

     Edmond 'Oge' Butler was the son of Edmond fitz John Butler and Katherine (?)¹ He died in 1382, without issue.¹

     Henry Pelham-Clinton, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne was born on 16 April 1720.¹ He was the son of Henry Clinton, 7th Earl of Lincoln and Hon. Lucy Pelham.¹ He married Catherine Pelham, daughter of Rt. Hon. Henry Pelham and Lady Catherine Manners, on 3 October 1744.³ He died on 22 February 1794 at age 73.¹

     Catherine Pelham was born on 24 July 1727.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Henry Pelham and Lady Catherine Manners.³ She married Henry Pelham-Clinton, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Henry Clinton, 7th Earl of Lincoln and Hon. Lucy Pelham, on 3 October 1744.¹ She died on 27 July 1760 at age 33.³
     From 3 October 1744, her married name became Clinton. After her marriage, Catherine Pelham was styled as Countess of Lincoln on 3 October 1744.

     Hon. Dorothy Mary Baring was born on 28 September 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Hugh Baring, 4th Baron Ashburton and Hon. Leonora Caroline Digby.¹ She died on 11 April 1893 at age 7.¹

     Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton was born circa 1653.³ He was the son of Sir John Pelham, 3rd Bt. and Lady Lucy Sydney.⁴ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Sir William Jones, on 26 November 1679.³ He married, secondly, Lady Grace Holles, daughter of Gilbert Holles, 3rd Earl of Clare and Grace Pierrepont, on 21 May 1686.¹ He died on 23 February 1711/12.³

     Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne was born on 30 January 1785 at Walton, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pelham-Clinton, 3rd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Lady Anna Maria Stanhope.¹ He married Georgina Elizabeth Mundy, daughter of Edward Miller Mundy and Georgiana Chadwick, on 18 July 1807.¹ He died on 12 January 1851 at age 65 at Clumber^G.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Lincoln [E., 1572] on 18 May 1795.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne [G.B., 1756] on 18 May 1795. He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire between 1809 and 1839.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1812.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) in 1834.¹ He held the office of High Steward of Retford.¹ He held the office of Steward and Keeper of Sherwood Forest.¹

     Georgina Elizabeth Mundy was born on 1 June 1789. She was the daughter of Edward Miller Mundy and Georgiana Chadwick.³ She married Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Thomas Pelham-Clinton, 3rd Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Lady Anna Maria Stanhope, on 18 July 1807.³ She died on 20 September 1822 at age 33 at Clumber Park^G.
     From 18 July 1807, her married name became Pelham-Clinton. After her marriage, Georgina Elizabeth Mundy was styled as Duchess of Newcastle-under-Lyne on 18 July 1807.
