Captain Eric William Edward Fellowes, 3rd Baron Ailwyn was born on 24 November 1887.1 He was the son of Ailwyn Edward Fellowes, 1st Baron Ailwyn and Hon. Agatha Eleanor Augusta Jolliffe.1 He married Cecil Lorna Barclay, daughter of Hugh Gurney Barclay and Evelyn Louisa Hogg, on 5 June 1935.1 He died on 23 March 1976 at age 88, without issue.2
He gained the rank of officer in 1902 in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1909.1 He fought in the First World War, in the North Sea.1 He gained the rank of Commander in 1923.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1934.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Ailwyn, of Honingham, co.
