     Anne Salusbury is the daughter of Sir Henry Salusbury, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Vaughan.^1,2 She married Hon. Arthur Stanhope, son of Philip Stanhope, 1st Earl of Chesterfield and Catherine Hastings.¹
     Her married name became Stanhope.

     Paul Reynaud was born in 1878. He died in 1966.
     He held the office of Prime Minister of France in 1940.

     Lady Henrietta Thynne was born on 17 November 1762.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck.¹ She married Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl of Chesterfield, son of Arthur Charles Stanhope and Margaret Headlam, on 2 May 1799 at Grosvenor Street, London, England^G.¹ She died on 31 May 1813 at age 50 at Chesterfield House, Mayfair, London, England^G.²
     After her marriage, Lady Henrietta Thynne was styled as Countess of Chesterfield on 2 May 1799. From 2 May 1799, her married name became Stanhope. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber to the Queen Consort between 1807 and 1813.^1,3

     Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl of Chesterfield was born on 10 November 1755.¹ He was the son of Arthur Charles Stanhope and Margaret Headlam.¹ He was baptised on 28 November 1755 at Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Thistlethwayte, daughter of Reverend Robert Thistlethwayte and Anne Bathurst, on 20 August 1777 at Lambeth Chapel, Lambeth, London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Henrietta Thynne, daughter of Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck, on 2 May 1799 at Grosvenor Street, London, England^G.¹ He died on 29 August 1815 at age 59 at Bretby, Derbyshire, England^G.³ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1816.³
     He was educated in 1773 at University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Chesterfield, co. Derby [E., 1628] on 24 March 1773.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Stanhope of Shelford, co.      Anne Thistlethwayte was born in 1759.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Robert Thistlethwayte and Anne Bathurst.¹ She married Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl of Chesterfield, son of Arthur Charles Stanhope and Margaret Headlam, on 20 August 1777 at Lambeth Chapel, Lambeth, London, England^G.¹ She died on 20 October 1798.¹ She was buried on 2 November 1798 at Shelford, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹
     From 20 August 1777, her married name became Stanhope. After her marriage, Anne Thistlethwayte was styled as Countess of Chesterfield on 20 August 1777.

     Reverend Robert Thistlethwayte was born in 1720.² He married Anne Bathurst, daughter of Peter Bathurst and Lady Selina Shirley. He died on 25 March 1767.²

     Charles Stanhope was born in 1655.² He was the son of Hon. Arthur Stanhope and Anne Salusbury.^1,2 He married Frances Topp, daughter of Sir Francis Topp, 1st Bt., in 1674.² He died on 6 March 1711/12.
     He lived at Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, England^G.³

     Frances Topp was the daughter of Sir Francis Topp, 1st Bt.¹ She married Charles Stanhope, son of Hon. Arthur Stanhope and Anne Salusbury, in 1674.¹ She died circa January 1722. She was buried on 14 January 1722.
     Her married name became Stanhope.

     Sir Francis Topp, 1st Bt. gained the title of 1st Baronet Topp, of Tormanton, Gloucestershire.
