     Captain Hon. Charles Thomas Anderdon Pollock was born on 12 April 1889.2 He was the son of Ernest Murray Pollock, 1st Viscount Hanworth and Laura Helen Salt.1,3 He married Alice Joyce Becher, daughter of John Henry Becher and Alice Mary Pickard-Cambridge, on 19 January 1915.2 He died on 31 March 1918 at age 28, killed in action.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Inns of Court OTC, attached to 1st/4th East Yorkshire Regiment.2 He fought in the First World War.1
