William Beamish1

     William Beamish was the son of John Samuel Beamish and Arabella Swayne.1 He married Ellen Prudence Gregory, daughter of Lt.-Col. David Gregory, on 2 May 1840.1 He died in 1881.1
     He lived at Cork, County Cork, IrelandG.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

     Ellen Prudence Gregory was the daughter of Lt.-Col. David Gregory.1 She married William Beamish, son of John Samuel Beamish and Arabella Swayne, on 2 May 1840.1
     From 2 May 1840, her married name became Beamish.1

     Lt.-Col. David Gregory Beamish was born on 23 June 1842.1 He was the son of William Beamish and Ellen Prudence Gregory.1 He married Mary Jane Hammond, daughter of Thomas Hammond, on 17 November 1877.1 He died on 29 June 1915 at age 73.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 5th Northumberland Fusiliers.1 He lived at Mount Beamish, Boulteen, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Ella Wright Beamish was the daughter of Lt.-Col. David Gregory Beamish and Mary Jane Hammond.1 She married Charles Evans, son of Henry Evans, on 11 November 1903, left issue.1 She died on 11 October 1918, drowned in the sinking by enemy action of the SS Leinster in the Irish ChannelG.1
     From 11 November 1903, her married name became Evans.1
