Mary Brydone was the daughter of Patrick Brydone and Mary Robertson.1,2 She married Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 2nd Earl of Minto, son of Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 1st Earl of Minto and Anna Maria Amyand, on 4 September 1806.1 She died on 21 July 1853.1
From 4 September 1806, her married name became Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.1 After her marriage, Mary Brydone was styled as Countess of Minto on 21 June 1814.

William Hugh Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 3rd Earl of Minto was born on 19 March 1814.1 He was the son of Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 2nd Earl of Minto and Mary Brydone.1 He married Emma Eleanor Elizabeth Hislop, daughter of General Sir Thomas Hislop, 1st Bt. and Emma Elliot, on 20 May 1844.1 He died on 17 March 1891 at age 76.1

Thomas Paget, 3rd Lord Paget (of Beaudesert) was born circa 1544.1 He was the son of William Paget, 1st Lord Paget (of Beaudesert) and Anne Preston.1 He married Nazareth Newton, daughter of Sir John Newton and Margaret Poyntz, after 1568.1 He and Nazareth Newton were separated in March 1581/82.2 He died between January 1590 and 7 August 1590 at Brussels, BelgiumG.2
He matriculated at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, on 27 May 1559.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple on 24 May 1561 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Paget, of Beaudesert [E., 1549] on 29 June 1570.1 In November 1583 he was a zealous Papist, and fell under suspicion of being concerned in plots in favour of Mary, Queen of Scots, and so fled to Paris.1 Between 1584 and 1587 his extradation from France was refused by the King of France, and he worked on behalf of Mary from Paris, Madrid and Rome.1 In March 1586/87 he was attainted for treason, and his Barony forfeited.1

Lady Augusta Lavinia Priscilla Ponsonby was born on 11 May 1814.2 She was the daughter of John William Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough and Lady Maria Fane.1,2 She married, firstly, William Thomas Petty-FitzMaurice, Earl of Kerry, son of Henry Petty-FitzMaurice, 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne and Lady Louisa Emma Fox-Strangways, on 18 March 1834 at Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.3 She married, secondly, Hon. Charles Alexander Gore, son of Colonel Hon. William John Gore and Caroline Hales, on 2 April 1845 at All Souls, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 19 November 1904 at age 90 at Wimbledon Commons, London, EnglandG.2 She was buried on 25 November 1904 at Woolbeding, Sussex, EnglandG.2 Her will was proven (by probate) on 28 December 1904, under £2,600 gross and under £1400 net.2
