John Luke George Hely Hutchinson, 5th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty was born on 2 March 1848.3 He was the son of Richard John Hely Hutchinson, 4th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Thomasina Jocelyn Steele.1 He married Frances Isabella Stephens, daughter of General William Frazer Stephens and Isabella Lewis, on 19 May 1874.3 He died on 5 December 1900 at age 52.3
He succeeded as the 6th Baron Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1783] on 22 February 1866.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Hutchinson of Knocklofty, co.
