     Henrietta Preston was the daughter of Eyre William Preston.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Mervyn Archdall, son of Lieutenant William Frederick Archdall and Elizabeth Henry, on 21 January 1863.¹ She died on 11 May 1903.¹
     From 21 January 1863, her married name became Archdall.¹

     Reverend Mervyn Archdale was born on 27 January 1868.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Mervyn Archdall and Henrietta Preston.¹ He married Alice Sheridan Hamilton, daughter of Robert L. Hamilton, on 21 April 1897.¹ He died on 1 August 1939 at age 71.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1890 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was ordained in 1891.¹ He was the Curate between 1891 and 1894 at Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Chaplain to the Forces in Belfast and Holywood between 1897 and 1925.¹ He held the office of honorary Minor Canon, Belfast between 1910 and 1937.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Incumbent of Ballywalter between 1925 and 1937.¹

     Alice Sheridan Hamilton was the daughter of Robert L. Hamilton.¹ She married Reverend Mervyn Archdale, son of Rt. Rev. Mervyn Archdall and Henrietta Preston, on 21 April 1897.¹ She died on 21 December 1950.¹
     From 21 April 1897, her married name became Archdale.¹

     Robert L. Hamilton lived at Windsor, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Shankhill, County Monaghan, Ireland^G.¹

     Alice Hamilton Archdale was born on 18 July 1899.¹ She is the daughter of Reverend Mervyn Archdale and Alice Sheridan Hamilton.¹ She married Thomas Alan Cairnes Carson, son of William Burton Carson and Alice Cairnes, on 24 April 1930, they were the parents of one son.¹
     From 24 April 1930, her married name became Carson.¹ As of 1976, Alice Hamilton Archdale lived at Uisge Ban, Baily, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Thomas Alan Cairnes Carson was the son of William Burton Carson and Alice Cairnes.¹ He married Alice Hamilton Archdale, daughter of Reverend Mervyn Archdale and Alice Sheridan Hamilton, on 24 April 1930, they were the parents of one son.¹ He died on 21 March 1974.¹

     William Burton Carson was the son of Joseph John Henry Carson.² He married Alice Cairnes, daughter of Thomas Plunket Cairnes and Sophia Gaussen, on 7 September 1897.² He died on 6 January 1939.²
     He lived at Mendon, Swords, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
