William Livingston, 6th Lord Livingston was the son of Alexander Livingston, 5th Lord Livingston and Lady Agnes Douglas.1 He married Agnes Fleming, daughter of Malcolm Fleming, 3rd Lord Fleming and Janet Stewart, circa 1553. He died between October 1592 and November 1592.
He gained the title of 6th Lord Livingston.

Lady Margaret Stewart was the daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Moray and Lady Anne Keith.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Stewart and Francis Hay, 9th Earl of Erroll was signed on 27 June 1584.1 She died in 1586, without issue.1
Her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Lady Margaret Stewart was styled as Countess of Erroll on 8 October 1585.
