     Newdigate Poyntz was baptised on 8 November 1608.¹ He was the son of John Poyntz and Anne Sydenham.² He married, firstly, Sarah Foxley, daughter of Francis Foxley.¹ He married, secondly, Ann Forest, daughter of Miles Forest, before 30 January 1636.² He married, thirdly, Mary Parkyns, daughter of Aden Parkyns, on 21 December 1637.² He died on 4 August 1643 at age 34 at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England^G, killed in action.²
     He fought in the Battle of Gainsborough, for the King.²
