     William Alexander was the son of Nathaniel Alexander and Elizabeth McClintock.1 He married Charlotte Monsey, daughter of Messenger Monsey, on 1 January 1753.1 He died in 1774.1
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Law (B.L.)1 He was registered as a Barrister-at-law.1 He lived at London, EnglandG.1

     Charlotte Monsey was the daughter of Messenger Monsey.1 She married William Alexander, son of Nathaniel Alexander and Elizabeth McClintock, on 1 January 1753.1 She died on 11 October 1798.1
     From 1 January 1753, her married name became Alexander.1

     Messenger Monsey was baptised on 30 October 1694 at Whitwell, Norfolk, England.2 He was the son of Robert Monsey and Mary Clopton.2 He died in 1788.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), he was a celebrated physician.1 He lived at Chelsea Hospital, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Bawdeswell, Norfolk, England.2
