Isabella MacMaster was the daughter of Hugh MacMaster.1 She married Archibald Kennedy, 3rd Marquess of Ailsa, son of Archibald Kennedy, 2nd Marquess of Ailsa and Julia Jephson, on 3 November 1891 at St. Andrew's Church, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She died on 9 December 1945.2

Lt.-Col. Lord Hugh Kennedy was born on 19 January 1895. He was the son of Archibald Kennedy, 3rd Marquess of Ailsa and Isabella MacMaster.1 He married Katherine Louisa Clare Atherton, daughter of Francis Henry Atherton, on 14 April 1925.1 He died on 27 April 1970 at age 75.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Ayrshire Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1
