     Captain Thomas Roberts was born on 12 January 1778.1 He was the son of Reverend John Roberts and Anne Sandys.1 He married Katherine Hackett, daughter of Major James Hackett and Anne Lowe, on 25 June 1804.1 He died on 16 February 1855 at age 77.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Katherine Hackett was the daughter of Major James Hackett and Anne Lowe.1,2 She married Captain Thomas Roberts, son of Reverend John Roberts and Anne Sandys, on 25 June 1804.1 She died on 24 January 1867.1
     From 25 June 1804, her married name became Roberts.

     Major James Hackett is the son of Thomas Hackett and Mary Sheppard.2 He married Anne Lowe, daughter of unknown Lowe.3
     He gained the rank of Major in the Army.3 He lived at Springmount, County Tipperary, Ireland.3 He held the office of Alderman of Waterford in 1826.3

     Captain Sir Samuel Roberts was born on 2 July 1785.1 He was the son of Reverend John Roberts and Anne Sandys.1 He married Rosamund Roberts, daughter of Benjamin Roberts, on 30 May 1818.1 He died on 16 December 1848 at age 63, without surviving issue.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Belmont, County Waterford, IrelandG.1

     Frances Isabella Poyntz Ricketts was born in November 1802.2 She was the daughter of George Poyntz Ricketts and Sophia Sarah Jane Pierce.1,2 She married General Sir Abraham Roberts, son of Reverend John Roberts and Anne Sandys, on 20 July 1820.1 She died on 14 May 1827 at age 24.1
     From 20 July 1820, her married name became Roberts.1

     George Poyntz Ricketts was born in 1749 at Jamaica.2 He was the son of Jacob Ricketts and Hannah Poyntz.2 He married Sophia Watts on 13 December 1772 at St. Michaels, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 8 April 1800 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.2
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.1

     Maj.-Gen. George Ricketts Roberts was born on 8 February 1827.1 He was the son of General Sir Abraham Roberts and Frances Isabella Poyntz Ricketts.1 He married Harriett Roberts, daughter of Captain Thomas Roberts, on 6 March 1857.1 He died on 22 March 1915 at age 88.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Bengal Staff Corps.1
