Thomas Thynne, 2nd Viscount Weymouth was born posthumously on 21 May 1710.1 He was the son of Thomas Thynne and Lady Mary Villiers.1 He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Sackville, daughter of Lionel Cranfield Sackville, 1st Duke of Dorset and Elizabeth Colyear, on 6 December 1726 at Whitehall, London, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, Lady Louisa Carteret, daughter of John Carteret, 2nd Earl Granville and Frances Worsley, on 3 July 1733.2 He died on 12 January 1750/51 at age 40 at Horningsham, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He was buried on 22 January 1750/51 at Horningsham, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 His will (dated 5 September 1748 to 12 March 1749) was proven (by probate) on 22 January 1750/51.2

Henry Frederick Carteret, 1st Baron Carteret of Hawnes was born on 17 November 1735.2 He was the son of Thomas Thynne, 2nd Viscount Weymouth and Lady Louisa Carteret.1 He married Eleanor Smart on 9 July 1810 at Hawnes, Bedfordshire, EnglandG, after having been his mistress for 43 years.3 He died on 17 June 1826 at age 90 at Hawnes, Bedfordshire, EnglandG, without issue.4,5 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1827.3
