Hon. Anne Courtenay1

Lady Anne Courtenay, 1790 2
     Hon. Anne Courtenay was born on 2 July 1774.1 She was the daughter of William Courtenay, 2nd Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Frances Clack.1 She married George Annesley, 2nd Earl of Mountnorris, son of Arthur Annesley, 1st Earl of Mountnorris and Hon. Lucy Lyttelton, on 3 September 1790.1 She died on 6 January 1835 at age 60.1
     From 3 September 1790, her married name became Annesley.1 After her marriage, Hon. Anne Courtenay was styled as Countess of Mountnorris on 4 July 1816.

Captain Herbert Algernon Adam1

     Captain Herbert Algernon Adam was born on 3 January 1872.2 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin William Adams and Louisa Jane Adams.2 He married Emily Banner Clough Somerset-Johnstone, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone and Elizabeth Ann Johnson, on 21 December 1898.2 He died on 27 September 1920 at age 48.2
     He was given the name of Herbert Algernon Adams at birth.2 On 16 August 1907 his name was legally changed to Captain Herbert Algernon Adam by Deed Poll.2 He fought in the First World War, when he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.2

     Sir Michael Cox, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Richard Cox, 2nd Bt. and Catharine Evans. He married Hon. Elizabeth Massy, daughter of Hugh Massy, 1st Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Mary Dawson, in 1762.1 He died on 18 July 1772.
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)

     John Patrick Blackham was born circa 1918.2 He was the son of Charles W. Blackham and Mary Charlotte Robertson Massy.1 He died on 29 June 1944, killed in action.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, attached to the Royal Scots.2 He fought in the Second World War.1
