James Hewitt Massy-Dawson was born on 13 September 1779.1 He was the son of Hon. James Massy-Dawson and Mary Leonard.1 He married Eliza Jane Dennis, daughter of Francis Dennis, on 11 March 1800.1 He died on 2 October 1834 at age 55.1
