Thomas Livingstone-Learmonth was born in 1783.2 He was the son of John Learmonth and Margaret Mitchell.2 He married, thirdly, Mary Coull.3 He married, firstly, Christian Donald on 8 August 1803.2 He married, secondly, Christian Donald, daughter of Andrew Donald, on 30 May 1807.2 He died on 8 February 1869.3
He was given the name of Thomas Learmonth at birth.3 He was comptroller of customs at Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.2 He emigrated to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, arriving on 1835.3 His name was legally changed to Thomas Livingstone-Learmonth.2 He lived on 16 January 1864 at Parkhall, Stirlingshire, Scotland.1

Elizabeth Learmonth was born in 1814.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Livingstone-Learmonth and Christian Donald.3,4 She married General Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton, son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Matilda Lockwood, in 1841.1 She died on 5 December 1907.1

Major Alfred Fox Cotton was born on 11 January 1850.1 He was the son of General Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton and Elizabeth Learmonth.2 He married Marion Emma Heath, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Leopold George Heath and Mary Emma Marsh, in 1881.1 He died, without issue.1

Vice-Admiral Sir Leopold George Heath was born on 10 November 1817.2 He was the son of George Heath and Ann Raymond Dunbar.2 He was baptised on 18 February 1819 at St. Dunstan-in-the-West, London, England.2 He married Mary Emma Marsh, daughter of Arthur Cuthbert Marsh and Ann Caldwell, on 8 December 1853 at Malta.3 He died on 7 May 1907 at age 89.3
