Captain Sir John Hargreaves Pigott-Brown, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 August 1913.2 He was the son of Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown and Editha Ivy Pigott.2 He married Helen Viola Egerton Cotton, daughter of Gilbert Francis Egerton Cotton and Nora Williams, on 6 April 1940.1 He died on 25 December 1942 at age 29 at TunisiaG, killed in action.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brown, of Broome Hall, Holmwood, Surrey [U.K., 1903] on 12 March 1922.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War.1
