Sir Thomas Cotton, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1672.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Cotton, 1st Bt. and Hester Salusbury.2 He married Philadephia Lynch, daughter of Sir Thomas Lynch, circa 18 November 1689.1 He died on 12 June 1715.1
He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire from 1712 to 1713.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cotton, of Combermere, co. Chester [E., 1677] on 17 December 1712.1

Philadephia Lynch was the daughter of Sir Thomas Lynch.1 She married, secondly, Thomas King.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Cotton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Cotton, 1st Bt. and Hester Salusbury, circa 18 November 1689.1 She died on 30 December 1758.1

Sir Robert Salusbury Cotton, 3rd Bt. was born before 1704.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Cotton, 2nd Bt. and Philadephia Lynch.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Tollemache, daughter of Lionel Tollemache, 3rd Earl of Dysart.1 He died on 27 August 1748, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cotton, of Combermere, co.
