     Rosalind Margaret Innes Grant was born on 2 December 1893.2 She was the daughter of Sir Ludovic James Grant of Dalvey, 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Ethel Graham Lancaster.1,2 She married Captain Edward Coverley Kennedy, son of Edward Briggs Kennedy and Caroline Edith Jackson, on 21 September 1918.1 She died in 1977.2
     Her married name became Kennedy.

     Sir Ludovic James Grant of Dalvey, 11th Bt. was born on 4 September 1862.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 10th Bt. and Susan Ferrier.2,3 He married Elizabeth Ethel Graham Lancaster, daughter of Henry Hill Lancaster, on 17 July 1890.2 He died on 11 February 1936 at age 73.2
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] on 30 November 1884.2 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1886 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was a practising advocate in 1887.2 He was Regius Professor of Public Law Edinburgh in 1890 at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2

     Her married name became Stopford.

     Major Heneage Frank Stopford was born on 14 July 1877.2 He was the son of James Sydney Stopford and Katherine Mary Waller.1,2 He married Margaret Amelia Kennedy, daughter of Edward Briggs Kennedy and Caroline Edith Jackson, on 31 October 1908.1 He died on 15 September 1916 at age 39, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.2
