     Lt.-Col. Hon. Christopher Carleton was born in 1775.1 He was the son of General Guy Carleton, 1st Baron Dorchester and Lady Maria Howard.1 He married Priscilla Martha Belford, daughter of Captain William Belford, in 1797.1 He died in 1806.1
