     Hon. North de Coigny Dalrymple-Hamilton was born on 31 October 1853 at Inch, Wigtownshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot.1,3 He married Marcia Kathleen Anne Liddell, daughter of Hon. Sir Adolphus Frederick Octavious Liddell and Frederica Elizabeth Lane Fox, on 7 September 1880.1 He died on 4 November 1906 at age 53.3
     He was given the name of North de Coigny Dalrymple at birth.3 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire and Wigtownshire.3 He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Scots Guards.3 In 1896 his name was legally changed to North de Coigny Dalrymple-Hamilton by Royal Licence.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire.3 He lived at Bargany, Dailly, Ayrshire, Scotland.3

     Sir George Francis Hampson, 10th Bt. was born on 14 January 1860.1 He was the son of Reverend William Seymour Hampson and Julia Jane Franks.1 He married Minnie Frances Clark-Kennedy, daughter of Colonel John Clark-Kennedy and Charlotte Isabella Cust, on 1 June 1893.1 He died on 15 October 1936 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hampson, of Taplow, co. Buckingham [E., 1642] on 21 July 1896.1
