Edward Lawless, 3rd Baron Cloncurry was born on 13 September 1816 at Lyons Castle, County Kildare, IrelandG.1,2 He was the son of Valentine Browne Lawless, 2nd Baron Cloncurry and Emily Douglas.1 He married Elizabeth Kirwan, daughter of Major John Kirwan and Penelope Burke, on 17 September 1839 at Lyons Castle, County Kildare, IrelandG.1,2 He died on 4 April 1869 at age 52 at Lyons Castle, County Kildare, IrelandG, by throwing himself out of a window.1,2
