Major Charles Comyn Scott Scott-Gatty was the son of Sir Alfred Scott-Gatty.1 He married Cicely Muriel Gathorne-Hardy, daughter of Colonel Hon. Charles Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy and Lady Cicely Louisa Nevill, on 7 July 1904.1 He died on 24 July 1916.1

Alfred Erskine Gathorne-Hardy was born on 27 February 1845.1 He was the son of Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy, 1st Earl of Cranbrook and Jane Orr.1 He married Isabella Louisa Malcolm, daughter of John Malcolm, 14th of Poltalloch and Isabella Harriet Wingfield, on 3 August 1875.1 He died on 11 November 1918 at age 73.1
