Captain William Alexander Becher was born on 6 April 1770.1,2 He was the son of Commander John Becher and Anne Haysham.1 He was baptised on 17 April 1770 at Kingswinford, Staffordshire, EnglandG.2 He married Frances Scott, daughter of Reverend J. Scott, in 1793.1,2 He died on 10 October 1827 at age 57.2

Harriet Martina Becher was the daughter of Captain William Alexander Becher and Frances Scott.2,3 She married Frederick Nepean, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Evan Nepean, 1st Bt. and Margaret Skinner, on 20 November 1816, they were parents.3
She was also known as Ann Becher.4 From 20 November 1816, her married name became Nepean.3

Maj.-Gen. William Nepean was born on 20 September 1795.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Evan Nepean, 1st Bt. and Margaret Skinner.2 He married Emilia Yorke, daughter of Colonel unknown Yorke, in 1820.1 He died on 8 December 1864 at age 69.1
