     After her marriage, Jane Lamb Stormouth was styled as Baroness Merriman on 1 January 1953. From 1 January 1953, her married name became Merriman.1

     Francis Bingham Mildmay, 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete was born on 26 April 1861.1 He was the son of Henry Bingham Mildmay and Georgiana Frances Bulteel.1,2 He married Alice Lilian Grenfell, daughter of Charles Seymour Grenfell and Elizabeth Graham, on 26 July 1906.3 He died on 8 February 1947 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated in 1885 with a Eton and Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 ) He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1885 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Devon, Totnes Division between 1885 and November 1918.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Major in the West Kent Yeomanry.4 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches four times.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1916.4 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Totnes between December 1918 and 1922.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the West Kent Yeomanry.4 He was a director of Great Western Railway.1 He was created 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete, of Totnes, co.      Henry Bingham Mildmay was born on 19 June 1828.2 He was the son of Humphrey St. John-Mildmay and Hon. Anne Eugenia Baring.3 He married Georgiana Frances Bulteel, daughter of John Crocker Bulteel and Lady Elizabeth Grey, on 24 July 1860.2 He died on 1 November 1905 at age 77.4
     He was given the name of Henry Bingham St. John-Mildmay at birth.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1886.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.2 He lived at Flete, Devon, EnglandG.1 He lived at Shoreham Place, Kent, EnglandG.1

Alice Lilian Grenfell1

     Alice Lilian Grenfell was the daughter of Charles Seymour Grenfell and Elizabeth Graham.2,3 She married Francis Bingham Mildmay, 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete, son of Henry Bingham Mildmay and Georgiana Frances Bulteel, on 26 July 1906.3 She died on 22 March 1960.1
     She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 From 26 July 1906, her married name became Mildmay.2 After her marriage, Alice Lilian Grenfell was styled as Baroness Mildmay of Flete on 20 November 1922.

     Anthony Bingham Mildmay, 2nd Baron Mildmay of Flete was born on 14 April 1909.1 He was the son of Francis Bingham Mildmay, 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete and Alice Lilian Grenfell.1 He died on 12 May 1950 at age 41, drowned while bathing, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a Governor at Royal Veterinary College, London, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Welsh Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Mildmay of Flete, of Totnes, co. Devon [U.K., 1922] on 8 February 1947.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1

     Hon. Helen Winifred Mildmay was born on 17 August 1907.1 She is the daughter of Francis Bingham Mildmay, 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete and Alice Lilian Grenfell.1 She married Lt.-Cdr. Richard John Bramble Mildmay-White, son of Commander Richard Ernest White, on 29 September 1945.2
     ARRC.2 From 29 September 1945, her married name became White. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon in 1952.3 From March 1958, her married name became Mildmay-White. She lived in 2003 at Pamflete, Holbeton, Devon, EnglandG.3

     Lt.-Cdr. Richard John Bramble Mildmay-White was the son of Commander Richard Ernest White.2 He married Hon. Helen Winifred Mildmay, daughter of Francis Bingham Mildmay, 1st Baron Mildmay of Flete and Alice Lilian Grenfell, on 29 September 1945.3 He died on 10 December 1969.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Reserve.3 He was given the name of Richard John Bramble White at birth.3 Lt.-Cdr. Richard John Bramble Mildmay-White usually went by his middle name of John.3 In 1958 his name was legally changed to Richard John Bramble Mildmay-White by Deed Poll.3
