Sir Henry Lingen was the son of Edward Lingen and Blanche Bodenham.1 He married Alice Pye, daughter of Sir Walter Pye.2 He died in 1662.2
He was appointed Knight on 31 July 1645 by King Charles I.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hereford from 1660 to 1661.1 He has several sons, who all died unmarried, and seven daughters.2
